Wainhomes South West - Charter Walk

Wain Homes are the worst builders I know. I live in one of their estates in the South West . My garden fell into the garden next door as they didn't build a proper boundary wall between us only half wooden posts which were cheap and rotted very quickly. It took thousands of pounds to put it right and hours of labour by a builder. We contacted Wain homes and never got a reply . We also had meetings in the local guild hall which other residents attended as there were several serious issues drainage etc. Wain homes still didn't attend as they were asked to. Do not buy a property from them ever. Warning!!

Recently bought a home at the Charter Walk Site in Liskeard and we couldn't be happier. This is our first home so we were a bit unsure of the process of buying a home and what to expect, this was made so easy by the help of the sales executive, Francesca. She helped us every step of the way in completing on our home. Our build was also completed within the estimated time frame which we were very happy about. We were updated on the progress of our property throughout the build and were invited to visit the site as often as we wished before completion, we loved to watch it grow into what would be our home. We love the location of the property as it has fantastic views of the surrounding countryside, and the position of the estate allows us easy access to the main road in and out of Liskeard. Regarding the property itself, we are very pleased with the quality of the build. From the day of completion, our main point of contact became the Site Manager, Simon for any further queries, snags etc. Simon has been so reassuring and helpful. We have only had a few little issues which needed attention quickly. Simon sorted any problem we had on the day and was always so happy and obliging to do so. We struggled to compile a snag list as the build and finish is to such a high standard, there were only some very minor cosmetic imperfections. We honestly couldn't be happier and I wish that there was more positive reviews about new homes and particularly Charter Walk as we would have bought a home a lot sooner.

Nice looking housing developement in Liskeard. I like the style and colour of these houses, better than red brick I usually see.Great views over back of the site.Close to Aldi not far from from other shops.
