Great place to stop for coffee and food mid-hike. Always friendly; dogs allowed, and the food is nicely presented. Plenty of outdoor seating if the weather is suitable.

Small and pleasant. We were served by two friendly and helpful young girls. Our two granddaughters were with us, 2 and 4 years old. They kindly allowed the children to share a meal. We noticed on a couple of the tables customers had dogs with them. So I must assume they are a dog friendly tearoom. I would expect in the summer they'd be crowded. However there are tables outside and a vast expanse of moor. An ideal place to stop, rest and enjoy the company of sheep and ponies.
