I took my young collie to on Tuesday to Helen at the practice. She has been off working for a few weeks due to a few twinges. Physiotherapist suggested hydro for core and rehabilitation., well it was brilliant. They took everything slowly and introduced to water and treadmill gradually with rests between each session. Totally committed and extremely informative. We have booked to go again and will continue to as a preventative.

Our first visit to this wonderful modern hydro and rehabilitation centre. Our dog, Rocky was very nervous but he did so well. Helen and her team are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend. Also, they stock a wide range of healthy treats!

Just wanted to say how impressed I was, at my first visit, with my nervous boy! I have a 2yr old Cocker Spaniel, who is anxious around new people and especially around scary, loud or "weird" looking, suspicious objects, (the washing basket at home falls under this category ). I wondered how much he would tolerate being in the the scary treadmill and with a new person, but I can honestly say, he did me proud thanks to the lovely ladies who work here. They made him feel as comfortable as he could be and he wasn't nervous of them at all!

We adopted Duke 18 months ago. He's about 10, has been totally blind since birth and, as we quickly discovered, had elbow developmental disease in both front legs and lumbar disc disease. He was seen by Fitzpatrick Referrals and his elbows were operated on. His back is being managed by epidural injections. As soon as he was signed off by Fitzpatricks we started on physiotherapy with Harley and hydrotherapy with Helen. 8 months on and we have a different dog. Instead of walking slowly and stiffly, Duke is now trotting along the road at a pace where we have to jog to keep up with him. He is a happy, confident, smiley dog who lives life to the fullest. Even though he can see nothing - he knows exactly where he's going and he's happy to go in for his treatments. Helen and Harley are kind, gentle, understanding and knowledgeable. They took things slowly at the beginning - especially on the treadmill as we didn't think Duke would understand the water (he somehow manages to walk around puddles!), but he is an absolute trouper and happily completes his sessions and accepts his showers - then charges outside to the treat section to choose his prize! Duke is benefiting hugely from the care and treatment given by Helen and Harley and we have no doubt that their therapies are keeping him fit, active and pain free.
