Great welcome. Appreciated having a live organist. Enjoyed the service. Good coffee and socialising afterwards.

I grew up in Blindley Heath. As a child and teenager I attended St John's church on many occasions both as a member of the scouts and as a chorister. I have since moved away from Blindley Heath. My parents and one of my grandparents are buried in the churchyard. On Saturday 20 November 2021 I visited the churchyard. I was horrified to see the neglect of the place. It looks like the grass has not been cut for at least two years. There were leaves all over the place. Shameful.
