Walstead Place Care Home

I am the head chef at Walstead Place and I absolutely love it here , it has a very warm ,homely atmosphere ,and all the staff and management are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble , I honestly don t feel I am at work when I walk through the doors in the morning , instead I feel like Im entering the residents home and its an honour to be there .

Though I have only been working at Walstead place for the last 6 weeks, my initial thoughts are it is an amazing place with lovely staff, comfortable resident rooms, a strong catering department and an amazing activity department who go above and beyond in the most creative ways (such as on valentines day).

When you speak about care. Walstead place provides its 24/7 and beyond. My self and team always put the residents first. Leaving at the end of our shift its always mixed emotions but we go home knowing we had a good day with the residents. So if you looking for a Caring Home to put your love ones dont hesitate Walstead is the place to be.

I have been working as a carer at Walstead for a couple of months now. I have never worked at a place so peaceful and so homely like Walstead. I am truly enjoying working here. The staff is amazing to the residents and to one another. There is just so much love here at Walstead. Not forgetting the managment that is so organised. I would recommend Walstead to anyone, anyday.

Walstead is a great place to work, with amazingly dedicated staff. A great example was the Aria launch tea party on the 14th of March, with a great singer and a beautiful high tea! There are regular events going on through the year which are always a big success.
