Great Walstead has helped my and so many others' children to be kind, emotionally engaged, curious, bold and good citizens. It has a unique and special spirit.

We were recommended Great Walstead School by the headmaster of our previous Prep School in Hertfordshire. Our daughters started at Great Walstead three years ago, in Reception and Year 2. I like the school's 7Cs ethos, rewarding children for effort, kindness, perseverance and creativity, as well as academic achievements. The school offers excellent pastoral care, a good academic education and inclusive sporting coaching. The girls play regular matches in hockey, netball, football and cricket, as well as having lessons in swimming, athletics, tennis, gymnastics and dancing. There are lots of opportunities to take part in drama, art and music. I like the school's recent partnership with artists, who use the school's ceramic studios and offer classes to children and parents at the school. My girls have been inspired having classes with working artists, and I've enjoyed learning pottery too!

Fantastic school with a kind and caring ethos, set in a rural location, with its own woodland. Inspires the children to be the best they can be, by whilst providing a super Education, great Sport, and drama, and plenty of other opportunities. Great Walstead have also handled the online learning brilliantly.
