Thai Corner

Small friendly restaurant, very attentive service. Food started slowly with a 40 minute wait for the starter but then came out smoothly and quickly after that. Starter platter had some tasty items but was weary of the slightly warm spare ribs and chicken skewers that where stone cold from the fridge. The soup was delicious and the main courses of chicken, beef, noodles and nice where very tasty and piping hot. Would I go again? I would but not in a hurry.

We went on a Weds evening and were literally the only people there which was both nice and weird at the same time. Food was delicious. I could eat the hot and sour soup all day! In fact, if I ever face the gallows, I hope that the chef is available to provide my last meal. Thai Corner is overlooked I think, because it is tucked away around the back of Bailgate, but it's worth seeking out... even if only for that soup!

The waiter Bird is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended even the restaurants name changed to Lanna Thai from Thai Corner. Tasty.
