This place is adorable even just for a wander around. It has charming handmade cups, bowls, and beautiful asian inspired tea pots. There are tea cans stacked to the ceiling and a nice small business feel.

Excellent quality tea, and great communication regarding my order. One of the few online sellers that I could find for great benifuuki green tea!

Location access; really depends on whether you come up Steep Hill or down from the Cathedral Quarter. Effort required I will leave to your imagination. I've been going to Imperial Teas on and off for over 20 years but I'm no Tea, Coffee or chocolate connoisseur. However I can honestly say that I've never purchased a bad loose leaf tea or coffee bean. The staff are knowledgeable, very friendly and always willing to help the novice. So don't be afraid to ask, they love imparting the knowledge. This time I ordered from the website and decided to pick up the items from the shop (I went up the hill ). Items were ready and well packed. The website is easy to use with lots of useful information. Access for the mobility impaired is poor (it's called Streep Hill for a reason). And those confined to a wheelchair will require significant able body help, remember many of these buildings are over 500years old. However, unlike me, you can have your items delivered. This is IMHO a great place to get those everyday beverage luxuries that won't break the bank and may even improve the day.

Absolutely appalling service, waited 10minutes to be served whilst staff pushed us out if the way to serve others. Had the items I wished to purchase in hand the entire time and when I politely pointed out I was next in line, I was ignored. I have never received such absymal service in any shop. I will not be shopping there again though I doubt the stuck up staff would even notice.
