I was a bit apprehensive at first that itd be a seamless weekday lunch, since the staff seemed to be a little flustered and getting things under control, despite not being overly busy. But after a short wait on the sofas in the reception area it proceeded to be a really nice experience. We secured a table in the window at the front of the restaurant, which is great with the views and being able to watch the world go by. It was a lot quieter and felt a little detached from the main dining area, but the service from the waiting staff didnt suffer as a result and it made it a lot more relaxing. Orders were taken quickly with the drinks arriving almost immediately and the food too was served in good time. Portion sizes were really impressive both the presentation and taste were great. When ordering pasta dishes youre asked if you want cheese adding, which is done in the kitchen rather than at the table, so you might not get the amount you want but at least its still an option. The waiting staff checked up during the meal and getting additional drinks was nice and easy. Overall it was a nice fuss free meal with decent enough value for the location and setting. Id happily consider visiting again.
