I would not normally review NHS so poorly but this has to be delt with urgently. Told to attend A&E after 111 online booked me in. They decided to make me wait in UTC instead was sent in at 10:45pm I am still waiting to be seen @2am, I would have rated higher if I had a thoughtful and caring person who has dealt with me and actually did what she said she would do, and not get nasty towards me when I had already been waiting 3hrs when I was told that was how long it would take because only one nurse practitioner on duty and I question if I can have a numbing drop (eye injury) instead of tablets then I was told that I would have been able to have 30min after half amount of what I can have normally have but didn't have she fobbed me off when I asked for it two times, I was treated her for this issue a week ago and apart from booking in I didn't need to go back to reception at all because I was seen by the expected treatment time but the attitude of this member of staff and what on earth are the hospital doing with with a single person to treat people why do they not make sure the place is fully staffed is just ridiculous and down right bound to cause a lot of delay for all I know that she is not responsible for the UTC staffing solutions but for goodness sake at least keep to what you say and don't tell someone to go home and come back literally just 6-9hrs later when already passed the time I should have been seen by so once I actually do get seen its going to be almost 4.5-5hrs just to see a bloody nurse practitioner not even a flipping Dr and if the damage to my eye is extensive beyond a full recovery I will be placing the blame firmly and rightfully on the hospital, because I was told to expect discomfort for a few days to a week not agony and full recovery of my normal vision the first time I was seen so if something wrong and doesn't heal it's on them not me because I have done every single thing I was told to do.

111 referred me told would let them know I would arrive 1.30. Two hours before I got seen. As I have Covid told to sit on chairs in area where doors to outside open constantly. I have the chills/fever as have Covid. Freezing. No water. Nurse practitioner was amazing and thorough and he was very easy to communicate with and I felt listened to.

Genuinely very impressed, incredibly efficient and effective care. Seen quickly and discharged, both times Ive been I was seen within 15 minutes or so and never been there more than around an hour. Ive never experienced a hospital quite as good as this, nice work Lincoln NHS.

Tuesday evening, 1 clinician on Urgent Care. 4 half hours to wait despite 111 referring me to them. No working water dispenser so 4 jugs were left on a trolley - jugs were empty all the time i was here! People leaving their water cups partially full or empty on the trolley due to lack of bins. Who knows which are used or not - not hygienic. Receptionist said no food or drink dispensers.
