        I called this florist this morning to see if they could arrange the funeral flowers for my mother. Sadly, they could not have been more unhelpful. I was repeatedly directed to their website to choose something from there. I explained that I had been hoping for a more bespoke approach but the florist continued to lead me to the website. When I re-iterated that I wanted to choose the flowers myself, I was met with the response "Well what do you want then?" She made me feel like I was being difficult at what is a very sad and difficult time and she showed no compassion whatsoever. Surely I cannot be the only person who thinks that funeral flowers should be a fitting and highly personal choice relevant to the person who is being remembered. Needless to say, I decided to go elsewhere.
