I've been in this place a couple of times, & wasnt convinced on the initial time what I was given. Today, 28th February 2023, I went into the shop with a couple of gold bits, but despite me haveing been in the shop before, the guy on the counter asked for ID, even after telling him they already had it. I offered him Military photo ID, Council photo ID, NHS photo ID, & a couple of outher bits, but they were all refused. He wanted to have a bank card, but as nothing was going to go in or out of that account, plus an attempted fraud at one stage, I wouldn't give him bank details. As such, anyone going into this shop to sell any gold or silver, be careful with ID, especially bank ID as that is not needed, & the details could be used Fraudulently or unlawful. There is another shop in the town centre, that pays better prices than this one, & they are genuine plus there is no risk from them.

Very untrustworthy when selling my gold. I took a good ring to them to be sold, they said it was 14 carat and offered me 60. I was suspicious of this low price and subsequently took it to another place where I was told my ring was 24 carat and worth 240 ! What a difference...do not sell your gold to these people they will cheat you.
