After 30 years of being the village brass band this group of people who are supposed to protect the village cultural heritage are evicting the village band from their rehearsal room. The Foss Dyke Band has repeatedly requested a meeting with the Parish Council and they have refused to date. At the last meeting Councillor Gallagher also said that they didn't have any plans for the band room once the band had gone which is why he hasn't declared an interest to date. The Parish council has made decision based on misinformation given to them by their clerk (the same person who couldn't even place three cones to close the road on Anzac Day).
