Unfortunately I didn't enjoy the food at all. Our starter platter was OK but very expensive, 7 pp for one rib, one wonton, one mini spring roll and seaweed . For main we all had different and the squid was worst. Over cooked, freezer burnt, inedible and greasy. Salt and pepper is not S&P its just onions. By far the worst chinese I've eaten and I don't like leaving a bad review.

NICE ENOUGH FOOD... SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I last went to this restaurant a few years ago so I knew, or at least I thought I knew what to expect when I recently returned with my family... Firstly we were greeted, or rather just stared at, by tonight's waiter, a scruffy looking lad with his shirt half tucked into his trousers and wearing trainers. He let us choose which table we wanted to sit at. There was plenty of choice as only one other couple were in there for the entirety of our visit. Our waiter followed us to the table carrying the menus and before we sat down he threw them on to the table and walked away without any interaction, no mention of a drink or offer of some prawn crackers, unlike the last time we were here. A little while later he returned with his notepad to take our order. I had to ask if we could order drinks. Then came a discussion about why I couldn't order a pint of diet coke. Apparently it's because of the size of glasses they use! I pointed out that they sell draft beer so asked if they sell that in pints; obviously they do but I was not getting my drink in a pint glass! So I asked what non-alcoholic beer they sell to be told simply "none". I gave up and ordered a regular diet coke. Our waiter took the rest of our order... I then asked him which was the more spicy between the green and red Thai green curry to be told another simple "I don't know". There was no offer of asking the chef, nothing, he literally just couldn't care less!! He took the rest of our order and returned a few minutes later to tell us that they had "just run out" of my son's J20 chosen flavour, which I suspect hadn't "just" happened. Now for some good news.. Our food came extremely quickly, was good size portions and was piping hot. It was tasty but one thing I must comment on is, do people really want crab sticks in their seafood chow mein? This was an unwelcome and 'cheap' addition when just some more prawns or squid would have been appreciated. Half way through our meal we were all running out of drinks, but where was our waiter! We refused to call him over but chose to test out his customer service skills once more. Expecting him to at least come and ask us how our meal was and offer us more drinks, this simply didn't happen! I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and presumed that he was very new to the staff team but when we quizzed him earlier in the meal he told us that he had been working there for "4 or 5 years". Clearly if this is true he needs to find another job because his heart is most definitely not in this one. He was the only waiter tonight and if he is a regular member of staff no wonder the restaurant was empty! We would normally have stayed for dessert and coffee, and would have tipped for the service, but as soon as we had finished our mains we put our coats on, went to the counter to pay instead of waiting for him to come to us, and got out of there, thirsty, and never to return again. Tonight was the worst display of customer service I have ever experienced in a restaurant anywhere in the world. Please sort it out China Hong... there is a nice looking new restaurant next door which I am sure would like to take your customers, which you have made clear tonight that you couldn't care less about! .
