Travis Perkins Lincoln

My partner hired out some tools for his latest business project and we were kept up to date with the date and time. The young man was on time and very polite and helpful ( beard,glasses and hat) and I do remember him saying he hadn't worked for Travis Perkins for very long unfortunately didn't get his name but a credit to Lincoln Travis Perkins.

Heard a staff member (presumably the manager) openly shouting and swearing at a much younger member of staff at the till this morning about 8am. The fact he was doing this so openly made me think the young lad was being bullied. Really shocking to witness. Dont normally write reviews but hate to witness behaviour like this.

The stars are for the delivery/collection drivers. The rest of the experience was extremely poor. Ordered subbase, sand and slabs. Confirmation said someone would call to arrange delivery. After 14 days I thought it was getting a bit silly so I emailed asking for an update. Two days later I got "deliver tomorrow". I was given no further delivery time or what to expect. Mid morning it turned up. Delivery driver was helpful offloading. A matter of hours later, I saw I had numerous missed calls from an 014 number I think. They ended up speaking to my partner. They'd over delivered product and needed it back. It annoyed me slightly it was almost 3 weeks till I got what I ordered(ish) but hours before they wanted excess back. I understand they want it back but wasn't my error. After seeing the slabs when I got home from work I asked them to collect all of them. Awful and not what I ordered. They were collected a few days later. Again, truck driver was efficient and helpful. I emailed TP asking for an update on my refund. I have to this date not had a response (but I have had my refund). Wouldn't use TP again.
