They cancelled my booking in October and I still havent received the refund. Ive chased them on numerous occasions, they stop responding to emails, appear to have blocked our phone numbers, and just generally have been awful to deal with.

I have stayed here for several months now. Everything was fine, great service from the concierge, its a great location and I have generally enjoyed it. However, two nights ago there was a sewage back up into my apartment. It flooded my shower and out into the carpet and my apartment was not the only one impacted. I came home in the evening to sewage water in the hallway. Oh I was moved to an adjacent apartment, but the sewage water spread in the hall so that it is in front of the new apartment. The management company left it this week for more than 48 hours. Thoroughly disgusted at this point. The sewage water has leaked through to the floor beneath ours. It is in the ceiling and walls of an apartment. I have reported it to the environmental health agency. This company, Jackson and Jackson, who own the the apartments and Birchover, apparently do not value the health and safety of the residents here. Very disappointed. I have been stuck here with sewage water in front of the apartment that I have to walk through in order to move my stuff out of my old apartment and in order to get to and from this apartment. Unfortunately all the hotels in town are booked. This has been a nightmare, and I hold the owners and manager of the apartment responsible.
