Every village should have a Galleries Shop & Caf - shop around from a wonderfully wide range of groceries, seasonal gifts, locally sourced produce, decent wine and ciders, and then reward yourself with a coffee or lunch in the caf especially if one of Alia's Frittatas is on the menu. Truly a hidden gem near Bath!

Beautiful shop stocked with a very special and varied selection of local produce and essential items, coupled with a brilliant cafe serving delicious coffee, pastries, cakes and freshly made breakfasts and lunches. All of this together with a beautiful setting and friendly and personable staff. I really cant recommend this place more highly! Im fortunate enough to have this place on my doorstep as we live locally, but would say that its also worth making the visit if you live further away

Such a great shop and cafe. The shop offers staples and one off delicacies, from independent organic items to branded goods. When we moved in nearby we were so pleasantly pleased to find this little gem.

Can't emphasise how brilliant this community shop is, along with the cafe, and largely run by volunteers with the paid staff members. Great variety of basic groceries, local fresh meat, always a range of fresh veg and fruit and daily bread. We're currently addicted to the Christmas dark chocolate lebkuchen amongst all the festive goodies they have and my oldest loves the chocolate raisin refill station. Staff are super-helpful, knowledgeable about the area and always with a friendly word and smile. We've just signed up for an account so don't even have to bring a wallet if we need to pop in for some milk. The cafe is expanding and next to the village playpark so also good for takeaway snacks and coffees, plus they have toilet facilities. Dogs are welcome on the terrace area and there's even a water refill station for human and canine walkers alike on sunnier days. I feel v lucky to have such a facility in the community!
