Martins Mobile Music Lessons

My son has been having drum lessons with Martin for a couple of years now. He is fantastic! He has a lovely manner when he is teaching, is patient and knowledgeable and takes time to support my son to learn at his own pace. Hes also calm and a thoroughly nice person, not to mention a talented musician as well as teacher. I would highly recommend him.

I have been learning Guitar with Martin for a few years now, working through the Rock School grades, currently finishing Grade 5 electric. Martin is a superb tutor, always patient, lessons are fun and I learn at the pace I want to go at. I would highly recommend Martin to anyone who wants to learn an instrument, no matter how old you are. Brilliant! Thank you

My son has been having lessons with Martin for a number of years now. He started off teaching him the early piano and guitar grades and my son is now working towards his Grade 7 in electric guitar, having achieved all the other grades, the latest with a Merit in the middle of a pandemic. We are so grateful to Martin. He is just a thoroughly nice chap, knows his stuff, knows how to inspire and knows how to play! Without Martin our son would not be the musician he is.

Our son who is 12, started electric guitar lessons with Martin 9 months ago. Hed previously done a couple of grades on classical guitar through his school but one day he picked up an electric and that was that. Hes not interested in doing grades now, and were quite happy about that as he now plays just the music he likes and Martins style of teaching is so flexible that lessons flow. Martin continues to introduce him to new artists and always has a couple of gems up his sleeve but never pushes his ideas. He just goes with what chimes and of course he plays brilliantly himself so is very inspiring. Theyll work on pieces together and then sometimes have a little jam session where he encourages our son to free style. Its all very relaxed and creative and our boy never feels like the lessons are a chore. We dont even have to ask him to practice. We really rate Martin highly and our sons progress has been remarkable. Martin is pleasant, punctual and fantastic value.
