I was struggling with consistent injuries (mainly calves) due to lack of knowledge around structured running training, stretching, proper warm ups and cool downs and managing my training loads appropriately. I also have good, well intentioned spurts of nutrition, mindset and training but lacked the ability to form proper habits around it all. My concern was that it would be too structured, I'd get fed up with it or I would be asked to stick to really strict guidelines and diet etc... Phil takes into consideration LIFE! I have a family and a young daughter and often things get in the way, he takes all this into account. I have formed better relationships with balance around food and alcohol. I have lost nearly 1 stone in 12 weeks. I ran a personal best 10K of 43.39 (previously 46.50). Most importantly I have formed lasting habits, knowledge and education around injury prevention, structuring my training, planning and the tools I need to be successful long term! Half marathon PB at the end of the year and I will certainly be returning to Phil to support me in this. :)

If you are looking to make improvements to your running and fitness, I highly recommend joining Phill Youngs Run, HIIT sessions. They are varied, challenging and very enjoyable! As a coach, Phill is knowledgable in all aspects of running and he hits the perfect balance by being supportive, reassuring and encouraging. Im always looking forward to the next session!

Its been 10 months since I started doing the online circuits classes with Phill. To say its been a huge benefit is an understatement. I ran over 1000 miles in 2020 without any injuries due to the strength training provided by Phill. The online circuit classes are so thorough with Phill making sure we do the exercises safely. I always finish the class feeling really strong and energetic having given all the muscles a good workout. The classes are a lot of fun with the other attendees and its not just about the exercises. We all have a good laugh whilst getting stronger! Phill also makes the classes very interesting with different themes throughout the year, for e.g, Bank holiday theme, Christmas Etc. Whats not to like?! Id highly recommend giving the circuits classes a try. Its incredible how well you can workout from the comforts of your home with a fantastic coach to guide you. Thank you Phill for your support!
