    Emma came to a depression support group in Stanwell to provide a talk on mood and food, how a balanced diet affects the chemicals in our brain that affect our mental health. The talk was set at the perfect level - balancing the education on how food groups are important chemically, but also providing lots of hints and tips on how to apply this in our every day lives. My clients provided a lot of positive feedback, embracing Q&A, and coming away better informed about small changes they can make to help their wellbeing.

    Emma has been a fantastic help over the last few months. She doesn't offer quick-fix solutions, but shows you simple changes you can make that fit into your everyday life. I was eating totally the wrong things before, leaving me hungry all the time and still putting on weight. I've now lost over a stone in 4 months. I emphasise that this is not a diet!     I contacted Emma (Mindful Eating) when I regained almost all the weight previously lost on a well known diet plan. Having lost weight successfully I found the information on maintaining the weight I had reached was a bit flaky; it was all focussed on losing. Emma has helped me to reconnect with my relationship with food, since meeting with her last summer I have managed to lose a stone and am hoping to get back down to my original target weight by the time I have to put on a bikini this year!
