A small area of trees to symbolise the anniversary of World War 1. The trees were exhibited in front of the cathedral before being moved to the actual location in Beacon Park. It is at the Abnalls Lane end behind the golf course and the allotments. It is establishing well and has a some wildflowers and a semi organic route around the trees (which may be planted a little too close to avoid future thinning.) There are a couple of benches and the monument of names (those who supported via contribution) is at the centre. It is perhaps not the easiest for access for those who are less mobile due to the location. Probably doable in a chair with assistance.
