What an amazing care home.!!! The respect, care and attention they showed to my mum was above and beyond. I could not recommend this care home enough. The staff really do go above and beyond. From the heart, I can not thank you enough

Both parents stayed here recently for two weeks respite, the care and attention given to them from the staff was excellent. Both were well looked after and cared for, which is all we could ask for. The only downside in my fathers opinion were the meals, not very warm, lacking in variety. However on the whole we would recommend this care home.

My wife has been a resident at Darwin Court for two years and the care she receives is exemplary. All aspects of the home are first class and residents are calm and comfortable. I am completely satisfied that my wife is receiving the best of care.

i cannot speak for right now ,as my mother in law died in April 2020 after 6 years in the home . we were told she was at least on her unit one of the longest residents. I do believe the carers and nursing staff try there best which is all you can ask for, and which we really appreciated. From her time at the home both with the previous and current owners ,you may see something that you feel should be addressed, please mention it to the staff and follow it up until your happy, things can get forgotten unless you nudge the management . You may wonder why i have given 4 stars, the reason being ,we could cope with the occasional glitch, but after my mother in law being a resident for such along period of time died, it was as though she had never been there and not even a condolance card from them . It did feel, that to the management she was just a number ,and one gone next one in . Whilst to some people this a silly thing to be bothered with , to us it was out of site out of mind. This not a slight on the cares/nurses by any means. If the group or just the Care home management team do not do it currently, maybe they may think about doing it in the future .
