Barnardo's (Lichfield)

Although it is a lovely shop, it's not laid out the best for people with disabilities. I went a couple of days ago and unfortunately had my purse taken out of my bag, they explained that due to cost they don't have any CCTV. I actually got trapped up the corner of the shop by a few people who had no intention of letting me out of the shop until they had taken what they wanted from me. I don't hold the shop or charity responsible in any way.....but I think it needed highlighting how difficult it is for anyone using mobility scooters and wheelchairs. Police are investigating as the bank have confirmed times and costs my cards had been used within minutes of them stealing my purse. I think the shop must also lose stock from the bottom of the shop which is where some of the pricier items are displayed so hope they take that into consideration. I wish the charity and shop all the best in the future.

Arrived at 5:20 to take a look at shoes, tried both doors and they'd been locked when meant to be a 5:30 finish! Don't say its still open if its not going to be!

Staff are very helpful, good selection of clothes & good prices. Found new French connection garments here :)

I ve had some good things from here like clothes and eletrical stuff and the manger of the store and the team are so polite .
