Rhona was nice on the first consultation and appointment. However, for following appointments she was stern and quite rude in her tone, in a clever way how teachers are with children. Very particular in her ways. I stopped going to her because I thought you are providing a service to me which Im paying for but it works both ways. You cant speak to your customers in a stern old-school tone and thinks it right. If you have experienced this with Rhona, then you should let others know too. Im sure Im not the only one she has treated this way and would love to know.

Before my visit two weeks ago I had visited Rhona regularly. Facial hair, armpit hair and shaping of my eyebrows. She did such a good job I stopped going in 2009. Due to age I have had a few hairs growing on my chin and stupidly plucked them till they became spiky. Thank goodness Rhona was still practicing. Prior to going to Rhona I had visited a beauty salon but found the staff were not actually trained in electrolysis so I was actually paying for an expensive, painful plucking session. The hairs just grew back ready to be plucked again two weeks later. My only regret is I will only have a couple of sessions to become hairless again so will be another 12 years before I visit (I will be 87 years old)

I have just read a comment made by a gentleman and I think he has posted to the wrong businesses as there are a few electrolysis places in Lichfield. Rhona has always worked on her own and has never employed a male member of staff. Rhona is a lovely lady that truely cares about her patients, very professional and extremely good at what she does.

I have been coming to the Lichfield Electrolysis Clinic for over a year and a half and cant recommend the service highly enough. Before coming to the clinic, I had tried laser hair removal, which did nothing at all to help get rid of my facial hair. Some research brought to light that laser hair removal can legally only be referred to as a hair reduction treatment. The only permanent way to get rid of hair is via electrolysis. Rhona is the owner and sole electroligist at Lichfield Electrolosis Clinic. She set the clinic up in 1985 and before that had been working as an electrologist for over 10 years. Thats over 40 years of experience in administering electrolysis and boy, does that experience show! The clinic is discreetly situated back from Upper St John Street, and up some stairs. There is a small reception room, opposite which is the treatment room. The cleanliness of the premises is impeccable, as is the service Rhona gives. My first appointment was a free assessment session with Rhona where she went through the whole process from start to finish, including aftercare. She assessed my skin, and what I wanted to achieve. Rhona is definitely Lichfields best kept secret, and she is very in demand, so my advice is to book appointments well in advance to get the time slot you want. Saying that, Rhona is as accommodating as possible to fit all of her clients in and around each others needs. Before my first real electrolysis appointment, I was very nervous and didnt know what to expect. However, I quickly realised I was in the hands of a highly accomplished and trained professional electrologist. I wont lie to you, having electrolosis does sting! But the brilliant results I have experienced are well worth any discomfort. Before my first treatment, Rhona instructed me to grow out the hairs I wanted to get rid of. So for two weeks I let my black chin and lip hair grow out. It was my worst nightmare come true I admit! I felt really self conscious. However, that was the last time I felt that way. That first session, Rhona blitzed all of these hairs and they were gone! What a relief! Rhona schedules appointments every two weeks to keep on top of hair growth. The first session immediately reduced the thickness of my black hairs and regrowth by the end of the two weeks was much less noticeable. Gradually over the past year and a half, hairs have stopped regrowing at all, but theres always something for Rhona to tackle!! Its amazing how many hairs we have! The beauty of electrolysis is that it is so effective, no more plucking, no more bleaching and no more worrying and feeling self-conscious at my unfeminine hair growth. I can now barely remember a time when my facial hair WAS a problem. However, the best thing about Lichfield Electrolysis Clinic is Rhona. She makes me feel like were a team, we both care as much as each other about sorting my hair. Id even say at times shes more enthusiastic than I am if thats possible! I feel like Im not alone worrying and suffering, Rhona is with me every step of the way. Rhona cares so much and so genuinely about electrolysis. After 40 years, she loves what she does as much as ever. Thank you so much for being you Rhona and, of course, being the most amazing electrologist ever!
