Simply brilliant course, learnt so much! It was energetic, thought provoking and made me thirsty for more.. hence I will be enrolling on the level 2 counselling skills course in September. I would recommend the listening skills course to everybody, it's a real eye opener to the depths of listening, most people think they're good listeners but trust me I was shocked at how much 'pretend' listening I did historically... I've thoroughly enjoyed implementing my new skills! The teaching was outstanding and I'm proud of what I've achieved. Take the plunge, value for money and a huge life & career boosting skill. I would eventually like to pursue a career as a counsellor. When I saw the advertisement for the 10 week Effective Listening Course I enrolled straight away. I have been out of studying for many years so was feeling slightly scared at the prospect of entering a classroom again. The Effective Listening Course was perfect; it gave me a chance to see if I was actually capable of learning and studying again. I was pleasantly surprised and can say I enjoyed every single minute of the course. The course content was very interesting and intriguing and I was eager to learn more and more each week. We where required to write a journal every week about what we have learned and participated in role play, this was a great experience. I have learned lots of new skills and techniques and was able to have a brief insight of what being a counsellor entails before I signed up for the actual Counselling Course. These courses are affordable and local for me to travel to. Sharon is a fantastic teacher, very knowledgeable and was able to bring the fun factor into the learning environment. I have now enrolled onto the next course Level 2 in Counselling Skills in September and cant wait to begin my journey.

I have been doing my level 2 certificate with Adept as I eventually want to become a qualified counsellor. The course is really interesting and I'm really enjoying it. Looking forward to the next one!

I am currently studying on the Level 2 course for Counselling Skills with Adept and have learnt so much in such a short time. Approachable, helpful, down-to-earth tutor with interesting, well presented weekly lessons. Thoroughly enjoying being part of the group, making new friends and getting my teeth into something I've always wanted to do. Strongly recommend Adept!
