San Marino Coffee

So Ive been to this local cafe many times for brunch (love their breakfast options)or just coffee and always had a nice time. Yesterday however, I popped in for a takeaway Mocha and was very disappointed. Got a very milky and sweet drink, which didnt taste like coffee or chocolate and couldnt even pass for a bad latte. When I asked to confirm that I received the right drink, they did and asked what the issue was. I explained it was too milky and didnt taste like chocolate- the lady behind the counter offered to just add more chocolate syrup to a full cup - I declined as it wouldve just made my drink sweeter - and she said rather rudely Im sorry thats how a Mocha works I didnt say anything and left. In hindsight, I shouldve left the drink there as I did end up binning it eventually - it was not drinkable. Im sorry but thats not how a Mocha works- I know from having quite a few in my lifetime and one in the same cafe just 2 weeks ago, but was dining in rather than takeaway. Im not sure if it was a new person making the drink or a recent recipe change - but Im definitely more disappointed in the attitude from the staff. Cant say I will be visiting again unfortunately.

Me & my mum came here looking for somewhere to eat not expecting such amazing food & cute plates etc. the food came in good time despite it being so busy and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! Will deffo be coming back! Vegetarian options: Halal food too
