        Craken House Farm is the perfect campsite. Its situated a short drive/20 minute walk from the market town of Leyburn which is full of pubs, coffee shops and independent shops. Theres even a brewery and gin distillery within walking distance. Despite its proximity to the town Craken House is a peaceful campsite with amazing views over the surrounding countryside. The owner, Richard, is the friendliest person and made us feel very welcome. The facilities on the site were always spotless and the washing up area was very well equipped. Our pitch was very large and we loved the addition of a picnic bench, which was ideal for cooking on as well as eating at, meaning we didnt have to bring our camp kitchen or camping table. We would highly recommend this site and we will definitely be returning in the spring.
