I had a wonderful afternoon shopping at Jigsaw in Lewes last week. A beautiful trio of Ellies (yes they are all called Ellie!!) helped me chose some amazing pieces from their new autumn collection plus I scored some sale bargains too. I have been shopping at Jigsaw since it opened in the 80s & I have to say Im Extremely impressed that the quality of their clothes is still as good as it was then- where other high street brands have gone downhill. I still have pieces that I bought then as a teenager & have since passed onto my 25 year old daughter in impeccable condition. Their clothes are classic & timeless & Im happy to say they are also very ethical which is of great importance to me. Aside from the quality Im so grateful to the lovely Ellies who were knowledgable, have a great sense of style & were honest with what worked on my body shape & what wasnt so good. I cant recommend shopping there enough, it was lots of fun & will now be a regular despite living in Brighton. Honestly, rather than buy cheaper things on the high street that will fall apart after a few wears, spend the extra & get quality, ethically made pieces that will last forever!
