I have dealt with Gorringes and in particular David Holmes, over a number of years, as both a seller and a buyer. I have always been very happy with their professionalism, and the expertise and knowledge that the team can provide in a range of areas. The personal attention that Gorringes gives its clients is a welcome contrast to many of the London houses.

Hey Gorringes please maybe you will listen to this and actually return an email or phone call both of which you have said you would do but currently failed I must say this is quite unlike this auction house so someone or something must have gone badly wrong. I was dealing with David Holmes (Auctioneer & Valuer). To value a Chinese ginger jar he and a colleague valued it at 150.00 - I subsequently too his mobile number and posted the item recorded delivery. I spoke to David Holmes (Auctioneer & Valuer) after it was delivered and he confirmed it had been. He asked me to text him my email which I did and then waited for email and contact from them. I've waited almost 8 weeks and still they blank me - no phone call and not even a return email. In Fact I telephoned once again 2 days ago and the gentleman who answered the phone took all the detail said he'd get back to me within the day and guess what??? Nothing... Same old response that being ignored and just can't be bothered to update anything. This feedback is a hope to stir some emotional contact with them. To make them act, to get a resolution to this matter. I've just about had enough of the poor standards which they seem to follow ATM. However there is still a chance for them to rectify the situation and change the feedback I've left. You know where to contact me. So please do so...

When dealing with Joseph at Goringes whilst dealing with my late fathers estate he could not have been more kind or helpful at a time of great sadness and stress. He was a pleasure to deal with and the valuation was both efficient and clear. I can highly recommend him/ them.

I must say this is quite unlike this auction house so someone or something must have gone badly wrong.
