ArtStart Art School

My daughter loves her ArtStart sessions with Kirsten. Every week she comes home excited and inspired carrying something beautiful and unexpected. Kirsten never seems to run out of creative and fun ideas. Having experience with many school clubs in lewes its easy to recommend this as one of the best!

Highly recommended! My daughter has been going to Kirsten's ArtStart classes for over a year now. She always looks forward to them, and comes home with the most amazing creative things. So lucky to have this Art class on my doorstep, Kirsten is such a great teacher and it is a fantastic space. A real bonus is the connection with others. A perfect little retreat!

Amazing art classes for children, every week my daughter makes something new using a new technique. She learns about different artists along the way and it has ignited a passion in art for her. Thank you so much Art Start! Highly recommend!

This class run by Kirsten combines everything I wanted in an art class, as someone who has not really painted since Art A Level - and never used oils. The atmosphere is very relaxed (helped by some excellent background music in my humble opinion), the guidance is there where you need it but not overly critical or intrusive - Kirsten pushes her students with just the right amount of encouragement and valuable instruction. Above all, while it's totally absorbing it's also proved to be tremendous fun. I can't rate ArtStart's adult painting class highly enough for anyone who wants to paint - whether skilled or a complete novice.
