        This contemporary art gallery on a main road in Lewes is open nearly every weekend, with exhibitions that change every few weeks. All art is for sale, and is often very collectible. Visitors are welcome to look around, and enquiries are always met with helpful advice from the curator Sarah O'Kane or from the artists themselves, who sometimes are present. Each exhibition is usually interpreted by at least one free talk per exhibition from a participating artist, with details available from the gallery's website, or by joining its low-volume mailing list. Lewes is a town with many art galleries showcasing work by living artists, and St Anne's Galleries, along with two or three others, seems consistently to show some of the best-reviewed and best-selling.
