        Came on a saturday decent food. My friend had lamb and she reallu enjoyed it. I had the satay chicken and was expecting more of a kick. It had little taste to it. Eton mess was chosen and enjoyed by both.

        Picked due to free parking and location close to Lake District was blown away by the annex we booked situated above restaurant (no noise issues) it has parking a small terrace to sit outside if weather allows. Massive ceilings with genuine exposed beams being wonderfully refurbished by owners everything you could want and more ! Bed was comfy and large loads of towels and kitchen fully equipped for making your own food but the pub smelled amazing with their own food. Wish we had booked a few nights so will be back in future. Thanks so much for a lovely evening
