Found a dog in the rain and wind today. The vets at Letchworth vets for pets told me if I brought it down and it had no chip I would have to take it back to where I found it!!!!!!! Went to Letchworth vets who took the dog in, looked after it and found its owner. Shame on Lenka and Ayal Your response is untrue. You kept the puppy you wanted. Not Gina but the other woman CLEARLY said if the owner could not be located I was to take it back to where I found it!!!!! It was raining, cold and sleeting. No mention of ANY of the information you have given in your response, NONE. The dog was blind, the caring vets that helped us told us that. They had no issues with waiting for the dog warden if needed. Your receptionist was unkind, abrasive and all about what you could not do to help. As I say, you didnt mind taking the stray puppy in you kept!!! There was absolutely no miscommunication at all!!!! I was told very clearly that if the dog had no microchip I was to take Harry, the blind, old dog, back to where I found him. One swear word out of frustration does not equal unkind and abusive behaviours. Refusing to help a distressed animal is unkind and abusive!!!! The more you respond with your untrue spin on the situation the more I will continue to speak my truth. Your policy yesterday was not followed. I was clearly told to take the dog back to where it was found! Like I say you kept the cute puppy someone dumped there. If you have policy and procedures they should be followed at all times not when it suits. Continue to defend your unkind animal policy. Animals have stayed overnight at your vets many times!!! We all know I know that so if you want to tell your untruths go ahead. Like I say one swear word out of frustration does not equal the unkindness you have shown. Also do you really want me to call and speak with your practice manager, because I think not!!! You know my number, call me if you wish to discuss the lies that your receptionist has told re this situation!!!!!!
