These people are pretty slow, so expect to be here for some time. They don't open at 8:45am, they tend to open some time after that, whenever the Pharmacist can get there. She can't leave home any earlier, apparently. It's a pity that they can't change the times on the door to reflect that. They also don't shut when they advertise. as I just got home after popping out after work. It was just after 6pm when I got there, and despite the advertised closing time of 7pm the place is dark and locked up. I won't be getting my antibiotics any time soon then. Even if they are actually open and able to serve you your prescription, they often seem to lose your prescription and claim not to have received it. I've lost count now of how many times this has happened. At first I followed their instructions to go back to the doctors and check if the prescription was signed or sent over to Lloyds. The first time this happened I went back and forth three times, becoming more and more upset, as each denied that they were the problem. Bear in mind that the prescriptions are sent to the pharmacy electronically, so when the Doctor hits the Enter key then that prescription flies at the speed of light over the ether, straight into the pharmacy inbox. You would have thought that it would therefore be pretty difficult to lose the prescription. Nowadays I am older and wiser, so I simply insist that Lloyds search their system again and again until they find it. The Doctor's surgery has never once let me down, the prescription has always been sent, it is always Lloyds that have failed to find it. During my prolonged waits I have had the opportunity to chat to other customers, and they have similar horror stories about this pharmacy. So, this place is convenient for the Doctor's surgery, but I am now going to move my prescriptions to another pharmacy, because quite frankly, this one sucks. I've given it two stars because the staff are friendly, even if they are slower than death.

Yes waiting times are long, but this has never bothered me. Stuff is usually nice and polite But my last visit to this place was infuriating. Go in to collect my sonss prescription (we had just left our GP appointment). at arrival note on door saying short of staff so close at 1pm (at this point look at time and its 1.05pm) I waited at door for a while as i was expecting to ask if i could at least get prescription to collect sons medicine from other chemist. Well, once one of staff finally come to door, i didnt even have a time to ask a thing, door was slammed on my face! Disgusting behaviour!!! Definitely changing chemist.
