We used Refined Landscapes for garden design and landscaping work. At every step, from initial site visit, quotation, sketch design through to being on site, we found Jacob and his team to be excellent and clear communicators. We have an awkward site in an urban area, so both design and construction required careful phasing and attention to detail in the programming. We found each member of the team to be solution orientated and highly motivated. They worked collaboratively with us at every stage and we are beyond happy with the results. Design: Alex listened to our brief and worked carefully, bringing his creative skills/vision to realise our ideas. His approach, which includes initial sketch design and final drawings, ensures open and collaborative communication. He's a sensitive and attuned designer, who considers both detail and overall 'feel'. Construction: Joe co-ordinated the work on site, ably supported by Adam's can-do attitude, he is meticulous in his work. And the team worked incredibly hard each day, always on time and giving clear progress updates. They were courteous and highly organised on site. They also cleaned everything at the end of the project - even the footpath! Project Management: Budget planning and payment schedule were clear and we had support along the way from Jacob, as needed, in terms of pre-site scheduling and any follow up.
