Shires

Following a friend's recommendation I contacted Shires. As soon as I rang them I knew I'd rang the right place. Donna and Kate were so kind and took me through the options and process of direct cremation. I had very little family support of my own and found this service ideal for my situation. I knew dad was treated with the compassion, respect and honour he so rightly deserved. After I collected dad's ashes I arranged independently a memorial service for dad at his local church. I was fully satisfied with there friendly efficient service and wish to thank all there staff.

The team at Shires were compassionate, professional and provided an outstanding service to my mother and I in the preparation and management of my fathers funeral. NOTHING was too much trouble and they went beyond the call of duty for my dad. Look no further, this team will take care of you.

The team at Shires are lovely people. They were kind, patient and incredibly understanding. They allowed us to give our loved one the funeral that was personal to him and that he deserved. It's hard to know who to trust when it comes to something so important and difficult but I can absolutey say that the team at Shires are a team who you can extend that trust to when having to navigate through such an upsetting time. The respect given to us and our loved one was immeasurable.

Mum's funeral arrangements were handled very professionally and with empathy. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt that mum was in good hands. The day went smoothly and was as stress free as it could have been. I was helped through the whole process and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shires. The whole team was very professional. The tea and chats were a welcome bonus.
