Leominster Police Station

Certain offers from this station seem to think that it is acceptable to interrogate a victim of a road rage incident and tell them several times that THEY should have de-escalated a situation themselves by driving away even when they're told that the victim was currently on the phone to the police reporting the offence and was told to not go anywhere (pretty sure driving on the phone is still illegal and leaving the scene of a crime isn't recommended either...nor is driving off without paying for fuel....all of which would have happened if victim had driven away) and using words like "Excuse"....why would a VICTIM need an excuse?! And how does what an officer THINKS what happened override the account of what ACTUALLY happened? Officer in question has ZERO respect for victims, ZERO compassion and acted like a self-righteous bully. Officers like this are why the police have a bad name! APPALLING BEHAVIOUR FROM THIS OFFICER FROM START TO FINISH! Losing all faith in the police.

The officers here are not trained in domestic abuse matters. They have no concept of the complexities of domestic abuse and therefore do not investigate to the full extent of the problem,in addition I feel that there is a lack of wanting to understand and restrain themselves to a narrow view I feel let down by officers and their superiors. I also felt there was a gender bias.
