We very recently had new oak double glazed windows fitted to replace the existing softwood windows which were in poor condition. The new windows suit the mainly 19th century property perfectly and are very well made. They were expertly fitted by a craftsman who mainly works with oak and who was able to ensure the integrity of the fixing and sealing of each window. This was not always straightforward as part of the house has the original 150 year old oak frame. The frame fixing screws are also all hidden behind the casement hinges which is a nice touch. I am very happy indeed with the service I have received from Browns.

We commissioned a bespoke insulated solid oak door from Browns Joinery in July 2021. They were easy to deal (thanks Rob and Kate) and the door itself is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship by their talented joinery and fitting team. Our door was quite a bit wider than a standard door and we liked that Browns weren't phased by this and would stand by the quality of their work with a warranty package (that I will hopefully never need to use but is good piece of mind). We are very pleased with the door and think it enhances our frontage significantly. Thanks again! :)

I had some internal double doors made and fitted and flooring from Browns and I can't recommend them highly enough. Communication was excellent and the doors were beautifully built. Installation was hassle-free and the end result is wonderful.

Can't praise Browns highly enough. Very professional from first enquiry to installation. We had 6 windows & a door made & fitted & we are so delighted with them. The fitters did an excellent job & nothing was too much trouble. Would not hesitate to recommend their excellent service to anyone.

Really happy with this company! Definitely would reccomend and use again when needed. From start to finish nothing was too much trouble, even during lockdown Kate was helpful and as soon as able the work started, Mark was so professional and did a really decent job of laying beautiful wooden boards in 2 rooms, the end result is amazing. Helpful and knowledgeable team . Very pleased. Thankyou Browns :)
