I cant tell you how annoyed I am right now! I organised a fishing trip for my local club in March this year, I booked 10 rooms at the Talbot inn for June and they sent me an email confirming the dates rates and rooms etc. One of my club members rang the Talbot to add an extra night to his booking and they told him the booking was cancelled and has been since 13 of may! We have not had an email or a phone call or any kind of contact from this hotel! And they have all my details. I have managed to secure a hotel for the group so we will be able to go on our trip! But what would we have done if he hadnt tried to add a night to his booking? We would have been left with no accommodation! They have said that they have no heating and no water and it wont be fixed until July at the earliest. What a joke! If that was the case why is the reception still taking calls? I called today to ask about my booking and they answered! If you have no water the the place should be locked up and closed
