Stayed at Thimble Cottage in Knodishall Suffolk and booked through this agent. This is a very sweet little cottage, nicely decorated and it was clean and tidy when we stayed there. Yes, it could do with a little T&C but to be honest, I think you'd be picky to rate it badly on this because it is a rental after all and it is old (old beams etc.). Also, the stairs are extremely steep and narrow (& slippery - could benefit from some carpet I think) - not suitable for small children, elderly or anyone with a disability that might find that a problem. Potential renters should note that the stairs lead straight into the second bedroom which is then separated by a door / wall into the main bedroom. Unfortunately, there was an extremely bad smell of sewage at the property when we stayed. I reported this to the agent and they have since addressed the issue satisfactorily.
