I spent 4 days back-to-back recording with Chris in April this year, completing a song per day and am extremely pleased with the results. We also had another day for mixing and mastering. I brought complete songs to Chris that just had main vocal and acoustic rhythm guitar arrangements and he was able to work out improved arrangements (including backing vocals) and created additional parts for drums, bass, electric guitar etc., (all played by him) incredibly quickly. He's also very responsive to the suggestions and needs of the artist, whilst always having the producer's eye on what will sound best on the final cut. As a first-timer to the professional recording studio and working on a tight budget, everything felt very relaxed without any time being wasted, which helped enormously with getting a good performance out of me. A highly skilled and talented producer, engineer and musician; Chris is very creative and really lifted the songs to another level and turned them into proper records, which have received radio airplay.
