I used to play the violin when I was at school, (many years ago!) but I was a complete beginner on the piano when I started lessons with Natalia last year. I was initially nervous about starting to learn an instrument as an adult but Natalia was so friendly and welcoming that I quickly felt at ease. I am really enjoying my lessons and have definitely improved a lot in just a few months! I would highly recommend Natalia as a piano tutor.

I have been learning with Natalia for around 5/6 months now and begun with absolutely NO musical experience at all. As a 26 year old whom did not know the difference between Melody or Harmony, what a clef is or even how many keys are on the piano I was naturally quite nervous and apprehensive about starting. That apprehension completely disappeared right after the first lesson and my first meeting with Natalia. To say Natalia is a 'Great Teacher' does not do her justice, She is much more than that, she is a World Class Musician. In ordinary circumstances of course it would be enough to simply settle for a teacher, but if you are fortunate enough to live anywhere near an actual musician, somebody whom has actually dedicated their entire life to music, played and learned at world class establishments, and is willing to offer lessons within the same price range as the hobbyist teacher who is just trying to push you in and out of the door before their next student comes along, you'd be foolish to go anywhere else. Under Natalia you will learn more than you can dream of, your progression will be carefully thought out and planned. You will not simply be 'one' of her students, she will treat you like her ONLY student. You'll learn to play the piano in the correct way, emphasising good habits and proper technique, Which will serve you well wherever you choose to go in the future. At the end of the day, Natalia's biggest strength is something which cannot be taught in a book, It is a true burning passion of music in the form of a feeling/emotion, a sixth sense if you will, and it is infectious.

Natalia Fofanova was my piano teacher for 5 years starting from 2012. After a long break I decided to renew my skills of playing piano and I started to take piano lessons. Having Natalia as a teacher I had to accept the idea that technique is first and then we will be slowly moving to the playing. She always repeated: I cannot teach you wrong. She pays attention to every small detail during the lesson. I have great memories from the time I took lessons and I really miss it. Every year Natalia organized a graduation concert. Even having just one year experience you could feel like a great musician playing the grand piano in the Mozart museum in Prague. The atmosphere of such concerts was awesome!
