Bassett Road Surgery

I moved to Bassett Road only in the last year or so and I can honestly say they are the friendliest surgery I have ever been to. The reception staff are so incredibly helpful, a special thank you to Louise for helping me out today, it's hugely appreciated.

Definitely a good surgery. If you have a long term health condition and require a GP to communicate well with third parties, this surgery ticks that box. My medication reviews are completed annually with my hospital. Review dates of medications always reflected the dates provided, resulting in consistent supply of meds. Although at times medication could come up as requiring review and being unable to request them, they would always listen to and action any custom notes added to requests. Once they confirmed the medication was actually within the review date, it was always dispensed as needed. The only reason I have rated 4 stars is because I never had to try to get an appointment so I cant comment on that side of things. This might all sound like bare minimum, keeping me alive and that, but the bar is low having come from Flitwick Surgery. I recommend this surgery to anyone who requires effective communcation and GPs with more than one brain cell between them. Thank you for providing a good service!

The worst surgery in the whole of Bedfordshire, the reception staff are rude, ignorant and try to play God with who can see a doctor and who cant, even though they have no medical experience what so ever. I would absolutely not recommend this surgery, the only reason it was given 1 star is because the system wouldn't accept anything less...

I was dispatched from Bassett Road surgery one and a half years ago and I am still waiting for a diagnosis and a few other things. This is a long wait and I'm sure they have enough staff to cope, I am not impressed with this surgery.

I spent an HR and 40 minutes on the phone waiting to get an appointment ,was 11 in the que , after finally getting through , a receptionist called Michelle answered saying hello basset road surgary how can I help , I said hello Michelle , and then she cut me off at . 6.04 obviously her getting home was more important than my health, I hope sleep well Michelle cause I will be putting in an official complaint about you
