Great holiday even with a couple of rainy days! Interesting using the locks and lovely to stop at the pubs en route. The globe is fantastic with friendly staff and great food. The Three Locks and The Navigation are also lovely but only stopped for a drink. Gifford Park was cheap and cheerful and a great to place to moor to fill up water and get rid of your rubbish!! Overall a fab break!

What a fantastic way to spend a week with the family. I don't think I've ever had a holiday where I've cleared my mind so quickly. The boat was very well equipped, superbly maintained and had everything we needed for a wonderful holiday.

My wife and I agreed to come to the UK from the USA to attend my nephews wedding before the pandemic occurred. Wishing to avoid hotels and contacts with large numbers of people our intention was to rent a camper van (motorhome). Ageism stepped in and I was refused a rental as I was deemed to be too old. My solution was to rent a narrowboat for two weeks. After some trepidation my wife proved herself to be an excellent helms woman. We had a great time and were coming again in 23 for three weeks. We found the Grand Union both peaceful and interesting, and we found other boaters who provided great encouragement to my wife a very pleasant surprise. Keep up the good work Wyvern.
