They regularly over charge for items in there. Several times I've caught them trying to charge me more for items than on the label....even after telling them and showing them, they haven't done anything about it. Check your receipts before leaving the store

Staff are usually friendly, but the prices in this shop are horrendous. Not many dinner choices/options and prices go up every week and frozen food varies. Some things in there can range from 3-7 for small amounts

Convenient but Pricey - Nisa Local 3/5 stars Review by Peter, Monika, and Weronika Nisa Local boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to its friendly staff who are always ready to help. The store is an incredibly convenient option, particularly for those living nearby, as it remains open on most days and for extended hours. However, Nisa Local does have its drawbacks. Shoppers may find the prices significantly higher than those at other supermarkets, which can be off-putting. Additionally, the store is somewhat cramped, making for a less comfortable shopping experience. Parking is usually manageable, though it can become more challenging during peak hours. It is advised to visit during less busy times for a smoother parking experience. In conclusion, Nisa Local is a convenient choice for local shoppers who appreciate extended opening hours and friendly service. However, the higher prices and cramped interior might not make it the ideal choice for everyone.

Interior is much improved and use of space better after taking over from Co-Op. Staff are usually moderately friendly. However, I preferred the old shop, the selection of vegetables was better and NISA hardly ever have any vegetables in stock, shelves are often half empty. A lot of the vegetables are often looking worse for wear or past their use by dates, although to be fair some of the Co-Ops have this issue too. I bought a Cauliflower in there a few days ago and when I got home I could see it shouldn't have been on the shelf as the underside was slimey in places and the green leaves shrivelled. I ate it anyway, cutting off the worst of it, and assumed taking back the packaging for a refund wouldn't be an issue. However, the staff said she'd have to talk to the manager as I didn't have the actual cauliflower with me and after several minutes of discussion with the manager whilst someone was queuing behind me, she came back and said she could only offer me 50p off the 1.20 price as I didn't have proof it was bad and I could be trying it on, and I needed to bring the whole thing back for a refund, and acted like this was usual business practice, which it is not, and that they were doing me a favour. I'm hardly going to lie about a cauliflower lol. You could see on the packaging that there was some dried out green gunk stuck to it, a normal cauliflower just comes out of packaging without leaving bits stuck to it anyway. I gave them the packaging but they said it proves nothing. So in my opinion, this is pretty ridiculous.
