John Inwood - General Builder

We had a 2 storey extension built and had used the company previously and been happy with the end result. Although we are happy with the build quality this time, the communication and organisation was extremely poor from the start. We never knew when or if they would turn up and were continually given excuses. We also had to compromise on a number of key aspects of the build, including windows and whole room layouts, due to information not being communicated in a timely fashion. Our '16 week' build which started in Aug 19 took 1 year to complete and we still don't have a completion certificate as John has failed to give the council the steel calculations. He can't even provide us with the name of the structural engineer so we can chase it up ourselves. We have been asking him since September for this information and he has ignored all requests/efforts to contact him. We will not be using him again nor would we recommend this company to anyone. It has been an extremely stressful process and is still ongoing.

John build us an extension blocking up the bathroom window. He installed a fan for condensation..however 6 months later my house was full of mold. I contacted John who said he would sort it. 18 months later still no response and upon checking the fans been placed upside down. Despite it saying use this way up. Extremely dangerous and doesnt want to own up when he's in the wrong! Service: Fan installation

Had our drive relayed and extended. They did a great job it looks amazing and the guys were very friendly. We highly recommended.
