I love seeing Olivia at Touchwood! My nails and brows always look amazing when I leave and I have so much confidence in her to do a great job every time. Builder gels are brilliant and last weeks. The salon is so pretty and a lovely place to be, the girls are friendly, professional and reliable. I wouldnt go anywhere else and would highly recommend Touchwood.

The best salon around! I have never been disappointed with any of the treatments I receive at Touchwood Beauty. Such a calm, relaxing, friendly environment and I leave feeling amazing every time.

I gave this salon two chances and they failed on both of them. The first time, i had an appointment for guilder gel with Lucy. As i was asked if i wanted my natural nails a bit longer, i said yes. Therefore the nails ended up being 'extensions' apparently (as per the salon), and was charged more (which was not mentioned before, or explained this is a different treatment than what i booked). The nails were VERY thick and had a log of gel under my nail which was uncomfortable to use. On day 4 the nails started coming off from the upper part and there was air coming in, so i was catching on my hair a lot and anything else. On day 7 one nail came off completely. This is when i sent pictures and asked for the situation to be rectified. Olivia responded and offered to have the nails re-done, and let me know that if i still want the 'extensions' i will have to pay the full price (which apparently i wasn't charge in full for extensions), or if i want to have what i originally booked: builder gel, then they can refund me the excess that i was charged. The offer to have the nails re-done is the only reason why i am giving 2 stars instead of 1 to this business. I then re-booked the appointment after a while, as they were booked out at the times that suited me. So by the time i had the nails re-done they were in a pretty bad condition. Had the nails re-done by Olivia. On day 2, the upper layer from a nail came off half way. The same kept happening in the following days for a few other nails. On day 10, half of a nail came completely off. During all this time, i did not get the refund of the excess money i paid the first time. How disappointing. They have definitely lost a client.

I visited this place twice. The second time was to correct a poor job. On the first occasion i was overcharged (with 6) for what i originally booked, but apparently under-charged for what they 'so to speak' applied on the nails. When i went the second time for the correction of the poor first treatment, i agreed to go with what i originally chose. Olivia then said she will transfer me the difference back. After the treatment was done (builder gel nails), she asked for me to send her my bank details so she can shortly transfer the difference. On day 2, the upper layer started coming off. It then continued coming off gradually on other nails. Some nails had the full built up gel come off now. It has been 2 weeks and 1 day. The time passed by and within 2 weeks i still did not get the refund. I had to go back to her and keep asking for it. She seemed annoyed with me asking for the refund. I finally got the refund, and guess what, it was only 3. The explanation was that i had 'nail art' - which i was not told at the point of the procedure that this costs more, by the way. I honestly don't know how this business still stand with this attitude and work quality.
