Took my two girls here to show them how to shoot and use an air rifle. Staff are helpful and friendly, nice relaxed atmosphere while still feeling safe. A+

A true breath of fresh air in the gun community I visited Bolton gun club Air section today to try and find an alternative to my usual club. Lets just say Im glad there is competition locally and its nice to have a choice ;-) I was met with a warm welcome by Walt on the desk who was a really nice down to earth fella, he explained everything clearly to me, and there is a robust safety regime on the range but not over bearing at all. The range itself is great, its essentially a 53 yard range (I think) with distance markers and spinners scattered about . There is approximately 20 shooting stations, with a nice sturdy bench and chairs thats dont wobble, the floor can be little bouncy when folks walk past but Im told this is on the list to be rectified, the bit Im lost impressed with is the online booking facility. For a committee run club run by the members for the members and as far as I can tell non profit this is brilliant place. Youve gone over and above here. The facilities at this club are superb and they are super accommodating, brews and snacks are readily accessible. They also offer other types of shooting if you fancy it. With my new customers hat on I cannot fault with place , if I was a member which I will be very soon again I would be equally satisfied with everything. All in all I had thoroughly great experience. Ive already recommended this place to 3 shooting friends who I know will be coming too, they also attend other ranges and will no doubt be interested in utilising alternative facilities from time to time.

What a brilliant bunch of people, I've only ever shot cans and target's in the garden and this was my first trip ever to a range, made to feel welcome by both staff and other shooter's, helped to set my gun up by a nice guy I'd only just met... Nothing was to much trouble for them thanks for all the help, can't wait for next time
