Oriental Express

The place looks grotty from the outside. Needs more than a lick of paint. No parking outside except double yellow lines. Had Tofu as I'm a vegetarian, it's been quite nice until last time when I had what looked liked dirt on some of it, but my daughter had pork and actually made her sick! There was a fatty type, unusual tasting bit within in that she said did not taste like pork or any meat she tried before! The boiled rice had a chemical tastes and smell to it. It was vile !I've ordered from the Just Eat app and had never seen the place before until recently. Not somewhere you would be stopping to get food if you saw the place. Maybe environmental health should take a look....really! The floor wasn't clean...After the last time, the food was vile,even boiled rice, I wont be ordering again. Especially after seeing the place! Cash only payment. No parking at front only double yellow lines. You would drive by it if you had never seen it before. Looks like a run down building, rotten wood panels,dirty looking outside. Not lit up at all. JUST EAT and every other site it's on should really consider taking this place off their sites!

I don't know why they got 2.5 stars. Singapore fried rice is very very good cooked, and that sauce is unique. I was really enjoying the food. Unfortunately I'm not local to can order again and again. But if you want to try some really good fried rice this is the place.

If I could give a 0 star rating, I would! Avoid this takeaway at all cost. We have never ordered from here before and fancied a change. 2 and half hours after our order was accepted and the money taken from our bank, we still had no food delivered. We called the restaurant 10+ times and no one answered. We contacted the online app that we ordered through and even they couldn't get through, so we decided to drive to the restaurant after waiting nearly 3 hours! Was shocked to find that they had closed for the night, (this was at 8.30pm) even though they where showing as still open online. They didn't even cancel our order, just accepted the order, took the money and shut shop without any explanation. We have contacted our bank and will be claiming the money back however we will never be ordering from this place again. Absolutely thee worst customer service I have ever experienced.
