Dr. B H Esa, The Avenue Surgery Leigh

Dr Esa is an absolute treasure, you couldnt have a better GP. He is always caring & friendly and he goes above and beyond whenever he can. My 90 year old grandfather started feeling very unwell. We phoned Dr Esa at 3.30pm and he arrived at their house for an emergency home visit just two hours later. He checked my grandfather & ordered an ambulance for him so he could go to hospital for treatment. I cant praise him enough for his fast response and for the care he gave, I have no doubts he saved my grandfathers life yesterday.

New in-house medication reviewer has queried my medication two months on the trot. Each time it has been delayed no beta blockers for 5 days, medication removed, medication substituted and an item she did agree, missing! She also cancelled my appointment with Maire Walsh, which meant I had to go back 3 hours later to see Marie. Receptionist said I'd get a call back, it didn't happen, left it a few days and called back to complain, receptionist got all arsey and said complaints only in writing...why? WE FUND YOU! This isn't the friendly service it used yo be!

Been to see Marie a few times now and she really is a credit to the practice. A really lovely lady who genuinely cares. Also Jane on reception goes the extra mile to help. Keep up the great work.

Cannot comprehend why there are so many low star reviews. I selected this doctors because it was the best reviewed in Leigh (albeit it had a low score) Everytime I have made an enquiry on ASK myGP, I get a phone call or an appointment on the day. Very helpful and fast service. I ask myGP makes sense, people are fighting at other surgeries for appointments. This is simple and fast.
